Apprenticeship/Internship Program

Position Summary

Kurt Weiss Greenhouses, Inc. has the opportunity that you may be looking for. We here at Kurt Weiss have developed an apprenticeship program that will give you the chance to see what area of the horticultural field you may be interested in. The Program consists of 12 to 18 months of hands on training in all aspects of this diversified industry. You will be working with many different crops and learning all aspects or their production, as well as gaining insight into general greenhouse operations, heating, cooling, packing & shipping. We also offer the opportunity to train in three different areas of the country, New York, Florida and South Carolina, Newark, Utica, Danville. Our (goal is to cross train in all areas of operation so that you can truly find a position that is challenging enough to help you reach your full potential.
